Agua shots

Liners,

Last week we had your professional 1 year (really 19 months) portraits taken with Robert Shaw at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.  You were precious and looked so adorable in your little dress.

It was a beautiful day.  You were charming people everywhere you toddled.  The VIA bus driver as he pulled up in his bus... and we were walking in the garden ramp.  You insisted and telling him hi about 15 times and taking a tour of the inside of the bus.

Then, you made friends with the garden café manager.  Even though the café was closed, you charmed the manager with your sweet smile and he handed you a HUGE chocolate chip cookie... which I quickly put in my purse until, hopefully, after the portraits.

We were soon on our way to priceless photos.

After about 20 minutes, you were adamant on some pictures by the pond and fountains.  We, of course, succumbed - because you were so excited and because we knew the shots would be gorgeous!

About 2 minutes into the agua shots... you trotted your way right into the pond.  I quickly jumped in and pulled you out.  (You were in the water for maybe 4 seconds.)  I was scared for you at first, but once you were safe, I could not keep a straight face.  You were so confident of your pond and fountain shots... so proud of your photo session.  All to end up a cute little wet fish.  Thank goodness we had that monster cookie to bring a smile back to your face!

And, after all the excitement, you ended up with the Portrait of the Month!

What a cutie!
